· How do we say your name in short? NEDR?
We prefer to be called "DeafRec". However, our main focus is in North East area at this time. Back to top

· How is DeafRec different?
We focus on recreation and educations for the deaf, hard of hearing and hearing organization with our mission to bring these people together in the community. Helping business managers and hearing world better prepare for the deaf and hard of hearing community. And, we also work with the deaf organizations as well.

· Do I need to be a member to go to activites?
No. Everyone is welcomed to our activities. People become members by visiting our activities. There is no fee for membership. Back to top

· Do I need to sign ASL?
Well... if you want to communicate with everyone in our events it would be prefered that you learn some sign language, it does not need to be American Sign Language (ASL). However there will always be someone interested in learning, teaching or assisting. So come join us. Back to top

· I am so shy... what do I do?
That is ok!! Alot of people are shy at first, so you are not alone.
However, we prefer that someone approach us and ask who talk with. There is always a host or someone at the event, whom is willing to assist others.
