DeafRec welcomes all, deaf, hard of hearing and hearing people

The DeafRec in Rochester is the headquarter of all DeafRec. It was founded and established in Rochester, New York. AT this time, they are the most active group of all. They have succesfully outreached many deaf, hard of hearing and hearing people. They also have gave excellent gatherings that helped hearing who were learning signs fit in and meet different deaf people in the crowd.

Rochester Group always welcomes community people of ideas. If anyone has a special need in the community and activity, feel free to share them with Rochester group. If they approve of the activity... usually they do. They will be glad to help you or find a host who will be willing to make these things happen.

Every month our Rochester group has some ongoing events that are listed below (please check schedule for more info):

2nd Tuesday of Month at Pizza Hut (across from Marketplace mall)
4th Thursday of Month at Atlanta Bread Company in Henrietta
3rd Friday of Month is Rochester Deaf Happy Hours (RDHH) please check (or click here) calendar for location.
We also have special events given to us by our visitors.

During the 4th Thursday of Month coffee social, they will have a meeting to discuss thier future events, following old days deaf culture when the deaf would meet at a deaf organization and discuss their future plans.
